I was walking alone, completely, utterly, totally alone on that frost-filled
mid-January evening when a wind, an almost vicious wind arose, chilling
me, as the saying goes, to the bone. Yet more than the wind, a realization
chilled me to my soul as, with a sudden rush of panic, I realized I had no idea
where I was.
I was lost, with nobody around to ask, and no signs.
Far worst of all, though, I could not remember where I was going.
